INFOGRAPHIC: Social Media in the Middle East – 2015
Few technologies have transformed the world as much as social media over the past years. It has changed the way individuals share information and interests, and allowed people to connect from virtually anywhere on the planet. The simplicity and sometimes addictive nature of social media has led to an explosion of users and services.
Like the rest of the world, the Middle East has come to embrace the technology, with 88% of the region’s online population claiming to use social media daily. This user base represents a potential audience of nearly 100 million people. With such a massive number of potential customers browsing daily it’s no wonder businesses are scrambling to take advantage.
